Binance Accelerator Program - Application Security Automation

We are in search of a candidate to join our Security team for the Binance Accelerator Program, focusing on Application Security Automation. This is a full-time role for students or recent graduates available to work for a minimum of four days per week. The position can be located in one of our facilities in Asia and Oceania, which includes Australia and New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead application security automation projects and their implementation
• Integrate application security tools, both open-source and commercial, into CI/CD pipelines
• Aid in creating new APIs and web applications to leverage AppSec tools for stakeholders
• Collaborate with development teams for tool integrations
• Set up and manage new services for the application security team, supporting vulnerability management and security attestations
• Ensure operationality of tools and services provided by the application security team, while maintaining service-level agreements (SLAs)
• Facilitate integration of application security tools and services with chat-ops services and Single Sign-on (SSO) services

Requirements

• Prior internship experience or evidence of software development achievements, such as contributions to open-source projects showcased on GitHub
• Enrolled in a computer science/engineering or Information Technology program
• Proficiency in scripting and app development using Python
• Experience with diverse CI/CD tools and source control
• Preferred familiarity with security tools
• Preferred expertise in cloud-native application development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, adaptability to various environments, and fast assimilation of new technologies
• Sound understanding of completed subjects in their academic background
• Available to start in March/April 2024 for a duration of 3 to 6 months
