Description
The team responsible for blockchain security focuses on developing core Blockchain technologies, Smart contracts, and other foundational components to enable the creation of innovative products. They specialize in secure development, confidential computing technology, and advanced cryptographic techniques. With several patents attributed to this team, it represents a critical strategic investment for the organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the future of the dynamic blockchain industry.
Responsibilities
- Ensure continuous operation of the application in Production, along with managing other non-production environments like pre-production/staging.
- Possess a deep understanding of application features and all relevant blockchains.
- Collaborate closely with application and infrastructure engineers to comprehend changes being deployed to production.
- Apply fixes, enhancements, and optimizations to applications and infrastructure.
- Identify and resolve issues impacting production uptime, scalability, or responsiveness resulting from software deliveries.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and address application alerts and faults.
- Effective incident and problem management, with follow-up post-resolution to confirm the adequacy of problem resolution.
- Enhance monitoring tools and processes continuously.
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and audits.
- Maintain and support blockchain infrastructure, with preferable knowledge in DevOps.
- Senior roles entail direct communication with stakeholders regarding application issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Rust, Javascript, Node.js, or Golang
- Prior experience in application support roles
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Proficient in analyzing logs with a keen eye for anomalies and inconsistencies
- Inherent curiosity and ability to identify problems and root causes, effectively communicating findings with the team
- Experience in deploying across various cloud platforms (Azure, Google, Amazon)
- Experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus
- Expertise in managing container infrastructures including Kubernetes and docker-compose
- Proficient in building, deploying, and maintaining logging tools such as Fluentd, ElasticSearch, Kibana, etc.

Work closely with treasury, quant, and governance teams to ensure risk-adjusted strategies.
Establish and document risk policies and mitigation plans (both operational and token-economic).
Contribute to internal audits, compliance with applicable jurisdictions, and protocol transparency.
Engage with community and DAO contributors to maintain open risk communication

Have 3–5+ years in risk management, quantitative finance, or DeFi / crypto projects.
Know your way around DeFi protocols, liquidity pools, staking, on-chain analytics tools (Dune, Nansen, Arkham, etc.).
Understand tokenomics, smart contract audit principles, and treasury diversification strategies.
Feel at home reading Etherscan, analyzing TVL, and tracking wallet flows.
Communicate clearly, document well, and think both strategically and hands-on.
