Description
Token Metrics is seeking a dynamic UI/UX Engineer to take charge of our digital assets' UI and UX design. The role involves enhancing usability, usefulness, and visual design for an improved online user experience.
The UI/UX Engineer must have a strong interest in solving UI/UX design challenges creatively and adaptively, keeping abreast of the latest best practices and emerging trends in user experience and interface technology. The ideal candidate should be capable of crafting visually appealing front-end experiences that cater to both web and mobile platforms to exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
Design and User Experience:
- Create user-centric and visually appealing designs.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to guide design decisions.
Front-End Development:
- Implement responsive web designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with popular JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Work in tandem with back-end developers to integrate APIs and services.
Performance and Compatibility:
- Ensure optimal web page performance across devices and browsers.
- Troubleshoot and address cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Optimize web pages for speed and scalability.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Engage closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders.
- Participate in design reviews and offer valuable feedback.
- Communicate design concepts and prototypes effectively to developers and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Design Skills:
- Proficiency in UX, UI, visual interaction, and graphic design.
- Experience with design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch.
Development Skills:
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Proficient in Node.js and its ecosystem.
Performance Optimization:
- Experience in optimizing web pages for speed and performance.
- Familiarity with tools like Google PageSpeed Insights.
Cross-Browser Compatibility:
- Ability to ensure fluid functionality of designs and code across different browsers and devices.
