About the Opportunity
The Compliance team at OKX plays a crucial role in shaping the compliance culture within the organization. Made up of risk-focused problem solvers, we provide guidance to the business on regulatory responsibilities and enterprise risk management.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reviews of new customer onboarding cases, ensuring adherence to the Company’s KYB policy and customer risk assessment principles.
- Verify AML documentation by examining KYB documents provided by customers, using validation tools and reliable sources.
- Request necessary CDD/EDD documentation from customers to complete the AML onboarding process per our policies.
- Follow up on outstanding CDD/EDD requests within specified timelines.
- Investigate potential matches flagged by the scanning application used to screen customers against sanctions, PEPs, and adverse media.
- Provide insights to management on AML/CDD-related issues.
- Deliver top-tier service to customers and internal departments by promptly addressing queries and escalating when needed.
- Contribute to the enhancement of our CDD function and maintain related procedures.
- Manage special projects as they arise.
Requirements:
- Completion of higher education (Higher Diploma, Degree, or equivalent).
- Minimum of two years of experience in AML and CDD/EDD review or in a KYC field.
- Strong team player with a focus on delivering high-quality service.

Role Summary:
We are in need of an experienced Compliance Senior Manager / Director to fill the role of Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer (DMLRO) based in Singapore. As a crucial member of our team, you will support and deputize for the MLRO in overseeing all aspects of AML/CFT compliance within MAS frameworks for a Recognised Market Operator (RMO) and Capital Markets Services Licence (CMSL) regulated entity.
