Derivatives Risk Manager, Regulated Entity

Responsibilities

• Analyze regulatory frameworks and requirements to develop and uphold the risk management framework.
• Perform daily monitoring and analysis of alerts, ensuring timely resolution of incidents or risk events.
• Create and deliver accurate risk reports to supervisors promptly.
• Establish and maintain risk policies and procedures in line with organizational strategy and regulatory mandates.
• Offer risk analysis and investigative support through testing risk strategies and incident cases as needed.
• Conduct regular stress tests on trading instruments and default funds for derivatives trading.
• Prepare periodic and ad-hoc risk-related reports for regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate closely with the corporate risk management team to assess product risks for derivatives offerings.

Requirements

• Demonstrate keen interest and passion for Cryptocurrency/Trading.
• Possess over 5 years of experience in risk management for derivatives trading, preferably with recognized exchanges or Clearing Houses.
• Strong understanding of market risk management and counterparty risk management.
• Proficiency in analyzing complex data, modeling risks, and forecasting trends.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex information to various stakeholders.
• Excellent written English skills for preparing formal reports for regulators and senior management.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, adaptable to fast-paced and remote work settings.
