Director of Tech Ops

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join us as part of the core team in redefining the landscape of blockchain-based games.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all operational facets of the Technology department.
- Management of vendors and vendor relationships.
- Responsible for procurement processes within the Technology department.
- Oversight of Tech department SLAs and KPIs.
- Management of developer and DevOps on-call duties.
- Coordination of emergency on-call activities.
- Collaborative management of liveops developers and DevOps.
- Enhancing platform reliability, availability, and NFR support.
- Assisting the SVP of Tech in strategic and tactical decision-making.
Requirements and Skills:
- Background in development or DevOps.
- Proficiency in working with GCP, GoLang, Mongo, Postgres, and CockroachDB.
- Experience with building and working on monitoring and alerting systems.
- Fundamental understanding of Blockchains, specifically ETH and Polkadot.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in managing tech teams and departments.
- Experience in vendor communication and relationship management.
- Track record of enforcing SLAs and KPIs with tech teams.
- Professional fluency in English.
