Job Summary
We're looking for a talented Full Stack Engineer who excels in creating robust, scalable, and efficient web applications. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our core platform, working closely with our cross-functional team to deliver high-quality features and improvements. Your expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies will be invaluable in shaping the future of sports investment.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications using modern technologies
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and create solutions
Implement scalable backend services using Node.js, Express, or similar frameworks
Develop responsive and performant front-end interfaces using React, Vue.js, or similar libraries
Integrate third-party APIs and services effectively
Optimize application performance and maintain high code quality standards

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 3 years of experience in full-stack development
Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, or similar)
Strong understanding of backend technologies (Node.js, Express, etc.)
Familiarity with databases (MongoDB, MySQL, etc.) and ORM tools
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Version control experience with Git
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with blockchain technologies
Knowledge of sports-related APIs or platforms

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Tech Lead with extensive expertise in .NET and React to join our remote team. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong technical background in microservices architecture and experience in people management. As a Tech Lead, you will play a key role in guiding our development team, managing technical projects, and driving our product to the next level.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership:
Oversee the architecture, development, and deployment of applications using .NET and React.
Ensure technical standards and best practices are adhered to in all development processes.
Provide expert-level guidance on microservices architecture, ensuring efficient and reliable service design.
Team & People Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers, supporting their technical and professional growth.
Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, facilitating smooth communication across remote team members.
Manage and assign tasks, track project progress, and ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
Full-Stack Development:
Actively participate in coding and development as needed, especially in complex areas that require expert knowledge.
Utilize expertise in .NET for backend and React for frontend to develop robust, scalable, and maintainable applications.
Cloud & DevOps Integration:
Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless CI/CD pipelines and effective integration with Azure services.
Develop strategies for deployment, scaling, and maintaining applications in cloud environments, optimizing performance and cost efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience
.NET Expert (7+ years): Advanced understanding and experience with .NET Core/.NET 5+, RESTful services, and related .NET frameworks.
React Expert (5+ years): Proficiency in building modern frontend applications, handling state management, and optimizing performance.
Microservices Architecture: Proven experience in designing and deploying microservices-based systems, ensuring scalability, fault tolerance, and high availability.
People Management: Strong background in managing teams, with demonstrated experience in leadership, task delegation, and mentoring.
Azure: Knowledge of Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is a plus.
Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes, with the ability to effectively manage sprints, backlogs, and retrospectives.

API Development & Maintenance: Develop, maintain, and create testing strategies for APIs, primarily written in Node.js and hosted in AWS.
System & API Design: Design and implement scalable systems and APIs that power the HqO software used by people daily.
Technology Selection: Drive the selection and integration of backend, data, and cloud platform technologies to support the application.
Agile Collaboration: Work within an agile team to deliver software under tight timelines, contributing to sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous integration processes.
Technology Learning: Learn and work with new technologies such as AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Node.js, NestJS, and others.

Qualifications
Node.js Expertise: 6+ years of experience with Node.js and backend development.
Web Service Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience designing, developing, and scaling web services.
Relational Databases: Proficiency in relational databases and experience with schema migrations.
Cloud Technologies: Significant experience with AWS or similar cloud technologies.
Modern JS Frameworks: Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Redux.
Curiosity & Problem Solving: A natural curiosity about how systems work and a drive to solve complex technical problems.
Education: BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Bonus Points
Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
