Gameplay Engineer - Unreal
We are seeking a driven Gameplay Engineer to join our close-knit remote team working on an engaging multiplayer project. As a Gameplay Engineer at BTS, you will collaborate closely with Designers, Artists, and fellow engineers to implement various gameplay systems and ensure seamless updates for Big Time.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of key gameplay systems including AI, Combat, Controls, Locomotion, and more.
- Work closely with the design team to enhance gameplay systems through iteration and collaboration.
- Develop systems that are scalable, extensible, and production-friendly.
- Optimize game performance for multiple platforms to meet release targets.
Responsibilities
-Must have 2+ years of game development experience. -Experience shipping at least one high-quality game for PC or Console. -Strong programming skills with expertise in C++. -Excellent problem-solving skills. -Proven experience with Unreal Engine 4 and hands-on knowledge of gameplay systems like AI, Animation, Combat, and Missions. -Passionate about gaming.
Requirements
-Passion for Action RPGs such as Diablo, Path of Exile, etc. -Previous experience in AAA game development.
Desirable
-Fully remote work environment with an annual company offsite. -Work alongside industry veterans with a track record of games generating over $10B in revenue. -Unlimited PTO. -Opportunity to contribute to a new IP with franchise potential.
