Description
The individual in this role will have a significant impact at Token Metrics by enhancing the visual appeal and usability of products while also shaping the future of crypto analytics through innovative design solutions. This position requires a unique combination of creativity, strategic thinking, extensive knowledge of the crypto industry, and strong leadership skills to guide a dynamic design team effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Design Leadership: Develop a strong design strategy to position Token Metrics as a leader in the industry. Lead, mentor, and expand a design team capable of delivering top-tier UI/UX and graphic design projects.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the connection point between design, product, engineering, and marketing teams to seamlessly integrate design principles into product development and brand communication.
- User-Centric Approach: Advocate for user research and data-driven design methods to continuously improve user experience across all interactions.
- Informed Design Decisions: Leverage deep crypto market understanding to make design choices that ensure our products meet and exceed evolving user needs.
- Cultural Advocate for Design: Nurture a culture of creativity, collaboration, and ongoing learning within the design team to encourage innovative solutions that push industry boundaries.
Requirements:
- Crypto Design Expertise: Over 7 years of design experience, including at least 3 years in leadership roles, preferably in crypto or fintech industries. Showcase a portfolio highlighting excellence in UI/UX and graphic design in the crypto space.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive design strategy aligned with business objectives and user requirements.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstrated success in building and leading effective design teams. Exceptional collaboration skills to work across departments for cohesive project outcomes.
- Innovative Problem-Solving: Strong creative and problem-solving skills with a history of pushing design boundaries.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation abilities to articulate design concepts and strategies to diverse stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field. Additional certifications in blockchain or design thinking are advantageous.
