Head of Design (Krakow -Remote)

The role of the Head of Design at Token Metrics is crucial for enhancing the visual appeal and usability of products while also driving forward innovation in crypto analytics through creative design solutions. This position requires a unique combination of creative flair, strategic thinking, in-depth crypto industry knowledge, and demonstrated leadership skills to guide and motivate a dynamic design team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Strategy Leadership: Develop a strong design strategy that positions Token Metrics as a leader in the industry. Lead, mentor, and expand a design team capable of delivering top-notch UI/UX and graphic design projects.

• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Serve as a bridge between design, product, engineering, and marketing teams to seamlessly integrate design principles into product development and brand messaging.

• User-Centric Approach: Advocate for user research and data-driven design methods to consistently enhance the user experience across all platforms.

• Market-Driven Designs: Leverage extensive knowledge of the crypto market to influence design decisions, ensuring that products not only meet but exceed user expectations.

• Promoting Creative Culture: Encourage creativity, collaboration, and ongoing learning within the design team to foster innovative solutions that push industry boundaries.

Requirements

• Expert in Crypto Design: Minimum 7 years of design experience, with at least 3 years in leadership positions, preferably in crypto or fintech. Strong portfolio showcasing excellence in UI/UX and graphic design specifically in the crypto industry.

• Strategic Thinker: Proven ability to develop and implement a comprehensive design strategy that aligns with business objectives and user requirements.

• Leadership and Teamwork: Track record of building and leading effective design teams. Ability to collaborate across departments to achieve cohesive project results.

• Creative Problem-Solver: Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking abilities demonstrated through innovative design solutions.

• Exceptional Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts and strategies to diverse stakeholders.

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field. Additional certifications in blockchain or design thinking are advantageous.
