Internal Control Manager

• Evaluate internal controls thoroughly to identify risks and suggest enhancements.
• Assist in regulatory assessments and efficiently address external audit inquiries.
• Oversee internal control matters and work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of any issues.
• Utilize Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) systems; familiarity with AuditBoard is advantageous.
• Foster a robust risk and control culture by collaborating with different teams and functions.
• Contribute to enhancing internal control processes and documentation continuously.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of professional background in internal audit or industry internal controls.
• Proficiency in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requisites with a sound grasp of Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting, including process/business controls and IT controls.
• Prior experience in crypto, fintech, or related financial services sectors is highly valuable.
• Exposure to both large publicly traded companies (e.g., on the USA or UK stock exchanges) and high-growth scale-ups or startups aiming for public listing is a plus.
• External audit experience is beneficial.
• Professional certifications like CPA, CIA, or CISA are preferred.
• Hands-on expertise with GRC systems, and familiarity with AuditBoard is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills; proficiency in multiple languages is a bonus.
• Ability to collaboratively work in cross-functional teams without the necessity for travel.
