IT Auditor

Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess key technology and data risks at both group-wide and local levels, aligning with respective strategies and business environments.
- Assist in crafting the annual audit plan by taking into account the identified critical risks.
- Prepare audit plans and schedules for Central and Regional units.
- Lead and conduct audits to evaluate the adequacy of risk management and controls related to technology and cybersecurity risks, following set timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external auditors and the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to validate and update the IT audit universe, providing training and support to non-Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Offer expertise to the broader team on technology and cybersecurity risks.
- Stay updated on emerging risks and best practices in risk management.
- Enhance the Internal Audit team's capabilities continuously and provide valuable insights to key stakeholders.
- Advocate for technology advisory services within BUs to enhance the relevance of internal audit.
- Efficiently plan resources to achieve work targets, adjusting IT audit plans based on evolving IT controls, risk posture, and business priorities.
- Cultivate strong audit relationships with key IT Management at the Central office and BUs through regular communication, keeping them informed of emerging risk issues and significant changes in control processes.
- Draft audit reports, lead issue discussions, and facilitate action plan development with relevant management levels.
- Oversee the timely resolution of outstanding audit issues and monitor the completion of agreed-upon remedial actions by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in technology audit.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin essential for coordinating with international partners and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated background in auditing IT aspects, including governance, risk management, systems, cybersecurity, ideally within financial services or regulatory environments.
- Preferred experience in digital forensics or investigation.
- Previous exposure to auditing or working in First or Second Line of Defense IT functions, information security, operational risk, or handling payments and international transactions advantageous.
- Solid understanding of software development, system architecture, information security, and cloud computing.
- Familiarity with risk-based auditing and various risk management frameworks (e.g., ISO27001, NIST, COBIT, etc.).
- Ability to apply analytics, process automation, and develop a data-focused internal audit approach.
- Capable of reviewing code (Python, Java, SQL, etc.) and creating data analytics solutions (desirable but not mandatory).
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders such as Principal Engineers, Department Heads, CISO, and CTO.
- Adaptable to changing business environments and able to manage shifting priorities effectively.
- Relevant professional certifications or industry accreditations (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CIA, AWS, GCP, etc.) would be advantageous.
- Degree in computer science, information security, engineering, or a quantitative discipline would be a bonus.
