Overview
Our client is looking for a motivated Key Account Manager to drive the growth of their cosmetics brand. This role is perfect for a proactive professional who excels in fast-paced startup settings and is dedicated to achieving success with retail partners through effective account planning and execution. The Key Account Manager will take ownership of key accounts, focus on driving sales, manage the P&L, and nurture strong relationships with key retail stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and expand assigned key accounts through creating joint business plans, establishing targets, and increasing sales for our Korean cosmetics range.
- Lead account negotiations, covering trading terms, promotional strategies, and annual contracts, while ensuring successful in-store and online execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate launches and campaigns, including assortment planning, pricing, channel-ready marketing materials, and positioning strategies.
- Be responsible for the commercial performance by overseeing budgets, forecasting, monitoring key KPIs, enhancing margins through strategic planning, and utilizing insights from market analysis.
- Stay informed about the market landscape by analyzing competitors, consumer insights, shopping trends, and translating findings into actionable strategies for accounts and the brand.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, along with 3 to 5 years of experience in key account management, brand management, or trade marketing in industries such as FMCG, cosmetics, or beauty.
- Proficient in commercial skills including budget management, forecasting, and understanding of P&L, with the ability to translate data into effective account plans.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with adeptness in presenting, influencing, and aligning cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience in executing plans, such as organizing promotions, managing retail calendars, and coordinating launches across various channels.
- Self-motivated, comfortable in fast-paced environments, strong in prioritization, and taking ownership of responsibilities.
