Overview
Joining Dragonfly means contributing directly to the legal team's efforts to enhance the efficiency and thoroughness of our dealflow processes. You will engage closely with leading minds at the forefront of cryptocurrency and legal innovation and have the chance to support prominent crypto enterprises and token projects. This role suits individuals accustomed to dynamic and entrepreneurial work settings, seeking to advance their legal careers swiftly.
We are open to considering a summer stint, yet anticipate this internship occurring in Fall 2024. Interns receive compensation and do not necessitate course credit, although we are willing to assist if needed.
Functional Responsibilities
- Offer general assistance to the legal team
- Conduct research on legal and regulatory aspects pertinent to crypto and blockchain
- Evaluate existing agreements for compliance monitoring purposes
- Aid in revising and updating standard agreements
- Assist in the review, analysis, drafting, and negotiation of various contracts such as financing documents and vendor agreements
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited law school
- Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship from Dragonfly
- Capable of remote work with personal computer access
- Inherent curiosity and willingness to delve into complex and occasionally unclear legal matters
- Strong organizational and communication skills with keen attention to detail, as well as confidence and discretion
- Proficient in interpersonal relations, pattern recognition, and project management, demonstrating exceptional work ethics
- Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of tasks, rectifying mistakes, and learning from them
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Keen interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology
