The Mining Technician role at Foundry, a subsidiary of Digital Currency Group, offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team. Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, the Mining Technician will assist the Mining Operations team in deploying, maintaining, and managing crypto mining equipment in data center settings.
This position is available for candidates interested in working at one of our physical locations in the United States.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the Mining Operations team and oversee proprietary crypto mining operations
- Deploy new crypto mining units in data centers
- Maintain the existing fleet of crypto mining machines
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on mining equipment as required utilizing technical skills
- Coordinate equipment shipping and receiving with the Operations team
- Set programming parameters for equipment through software systems
- Maintain inventory of equipment and spare parts
- Perform general site maintenance duties when necessary
About You:
Minimum Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in operating computer hardware
