On-chain Data Analyst (12 months contract)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with on-chain business units to create and implement cutting-edge analytics solutions, converting raw blockchain data into valuable insights.
• Lead analytical initiatives for on-chain campaigns (e.g., airdrops, staking programs) to ensure precise tracking of user eligibility, rewards distribution, and post-event ROI analysis.
• Develop data dashboards and visualizations (e.g., Dune Analytics, Tableau) for real-time monitoring of key metrics (TVL, user activity, gas trends) to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Possess a degree in a quantitative field like Mathematics/Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or Life Sciences.
• Have 3-5 years of experience in a full-time Analytics or Data Science role.
• Demonstrate proactive teamwork abilities with a knack for swiftly acquiring and implementing new tools and methodologies, including proprietary analytical software, data models, and programming languages.
• Profound understanding of blockchain basics such as complete mastery of EVM-based chains (e.g., Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon), encompassing consensus mechanisms, transaction lifecycle, and smart contract execution.
• Ability to interpret transaction structures (e.g., Ethereum's txn fields, Solana's account-based model) and smart contract logs/events (ABI parsing, event signature analysis).
• Proficiency in Dune Analytics (SQL + dashboarding) and at least one other platform (e.g., Nansen, Glassnode).
• Expertise in querying and decoding raw blockchain data (e.g., BigQuery public datasets for Ethereum/Solana).
• Proficient in at least two of the following areas:
• Utilization of a data visualization tool (e.g., QlikView, Tableau, PowerBI)
• Proficiency in a graph database querying language (e.g., NoSQL, Neo4J)
• Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, C++, Java)
• Deep understanding of other Non-EVM blockchain mechanisms (e.g., SUI, Solana)
