We are seeking a Product Designer to join our team at Foundry, a subsidiary of Digital Currency Group, one of the most prominent investors in the blockchain industry. Reporting to the Senior Product Designer, you will contribute to expanding Foundry's suite of mining and pool operations software products, integral to the future of Bitcoin mining. With a focus on enhancing Foundry's mining software offerings, your role will be pivotal in supporting our new business line, Site Operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

As a Product Designer, your responsibilities will involve developing user-centered design solutions that enhance the overall user experience of our products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, ideate design solutions, and iterate on designs iteratively based on user feedback and testing outcomes.

• Understanding User Needs:
• Conduct user research to gain insights into user needs, objectives, and pain points through interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
• Enhancing User Experience:
• Improve the accessibility and adoption of Foundry's Mining Pool and Mining Operations Software Products, ensuring user-centric design decisions.
• Address design challenges holistically to craft complete user experiences and maintain a focus on post-deployment performance.
• Engaging in the Design Process:
• Develop design concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and iterate based on feedback, testing, and stakeholder input.
• UI/UX Design:
• Design intuitive user interfaces that elevate the user experience, considering navigation, interaction design, and visual hierarchy.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems, including creating design components and guidelines for cohesion.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to incorporate feedback and successfully implement designs.
• Contributing to Foundry's Design System:
• Work closely with UX and front-end engineering to expand and maintain Foundry's design system for consistency and efficiency across product development.
• Stay informed on industry trends to incorporate innovative design approaches into product development.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Have over 3 years of design experience in the enterprise product sector.
• Experience in conducting user interviews and building prototypes.
• Proficiency in software development processes and lifecycles.
• Skilled in producing high-fidelity mock-ups and prototypes using Figma.
• Ability to create and utilize design systems across various applications.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and design standards.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and Vanilla JavaScript.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in mining or cryptocurrency for over two years.
• Knowledge of data visualization techniques and frameworks.
• Proficient in building applications using React/Vue/Svelte.
• Ability to work remotely as part of a small team with autonomy.
• Strong presentation skills and expertise in UI/Interaction Design.
• Practical understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Miro.

The salary range for this position is $85,000-$125,000, offering competitive compensation and a range of benefits for employees.
