QA Engineer
Description
Responsibilities:
- Regularly review service cases and apply a scoring system to assess overall and individual quality metrics.
- Ensure accurate manual data entry.
- Effectively manage personal workload and escalate key risks/issues to the supervisor in a timely manner.
- Provide feedback on system malfunctions, SOP gaps, and necessary upgrades.
- Identify and implement best practices from service and operational delivery to enhance QA standards.
- Enhance QA standards for quality assessment by monitoring and collaborating with internal operations as per business requirements.
- Generate data reports using Office Suites and conduct quality analysis.
- Report valuable findings to the supervisor frequently to improve quality performance and complete assigned tasks promptly.
- Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders on quality improvement plans.
- Participate in internal and external training programs related to AML/CFT and other relevant subjects.
- Handle any assigned ad hoc duties and additional activities.
Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance for corporate onboarding in the financial sector, having knowledge of relevant rules, regulations, compliance, and operational affairs.
- Experience in reviewing high-risk and complex KYB cases, as well as conducting reviews of Financial Institutions and Broker clients profiles.
- Proficient in conducting risk assessments, periodic/trigger reviews, and enhanced due diligence.
- Knowledgeable about different client types and multiple EEA jurisdictions, such as Non-Operating/Asset Holding Companies, Funds, Partnerships, etc.
- Understanding of Virtual Asset Service Providers business types.
- Fluency in English to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders; additional languages are advantageous.
- Preferably possess ACAMS/CAMS/CCAS/ICA certifications or similar.
- Familiarity with WORD/EXCEL/PPT/VISIO applications, skilled in data analysis and reporting.
- Proficient in compliance tools like World-Check & Jumio.
- Strong judgment, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent administrative and organizational abilities.
- Previous experience in setting goals to improve operational quality standards and analyzing problems independently.
- Capable of working under pressure, demonstrating strong responsibility and a passion for Compliance, Operations, and Quality Assurance.
- Proactive with a strong service mindset, problem-solving skills, and delivery-oriented approach.
- Adaptability in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
