Role Overview:
In the role of a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal part in evolving and implementing data systems within the organization. Collaborating closely with the Head of Data and Analytics, you will lead the enhancement and refinement of existing data systems to cater to the expanding scope of product and blockchain data. As the team expands, you will be at the forefront of guiding additional data engineers.
This hands-on position demands active collaboration with the engineering team. Given the critical role of the data system within the company, you will wield substantial influence, supported by a dedicated team that encourages autonomy and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Establish a single source of truth for data accessibility across teams
- Enhance existing systems within GCP, Clickhouse, and dbt
- Ensure data integrity by transforming and validating multiple data sources
- Automate data pipelines wherever possible
- Address data inconsistencies promptly
- Scale data capacity to accommodate future growth
- Implement data instrumentation and tooling for enhanced product tracking
- Develop backup and recovery protocols for data

Required Skills:
- 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
- Proficiency in data warehousing technologies like Snowflake, Redshift, etc.

- Experience with distributed log systems is a bonus

Compensation:
