Description
Binance seeks an experienced QA Engineer (mid to senior level) to assist in testing our high-performance backend software stack. The role involves the end-to-end testing process, including designing tests to identify issues, converting them into scripts, and executing them for future iterations. This is a full-time opportunity with hybrid work options in the APAC region.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and reproduce functional backend software issues manually
- Develop and manage automated solutions to streamline processes in a distributed system environment
- Identify existing test script gaps and opportunities for enhanced scripted coverage
- Conduct investigatory testing on unreleased features, defining requirements, behavior, and consequences
- Document findings and prepare test reports
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in backend QA engineering
- Proficiency in full-cycle testing, including designing tests, developing scripts, and executing them
- Strong familiarity with Unix/Linux systems (essential)
- Skilled in scripting using Bash and Python (minimum 3 years of experience)
- Experience testing backend services like APIs, Databases, and distributed services (non-monolithic)
- Additional experience or knowledge in DevOps would be advantageous
