Senior QA Engineer

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. As a crucial member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and refining comprehensive test plans. Your dedication to identifying defects proactively and improving testing processes will be essential to the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed test cases, scripts, and automation frameworks for robust functional and regression testing.
• Lead testing efforts for complex features and critical components to maximize reliability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and operations teams to create effective test strategies based on requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Identify and track defects through test management tools, advocating for prompt resolution with the development team.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and actively contribute to process enhancements within the QA team.
• Stay informed about emerging QA technologies and incorporate best practices into our testing processes.
• Clearly communicate test results, risks, and quality status to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of proven experience in software quality assurance, with exposure to various testing methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages such as Selenium, Appium, JMeter, Python, Pytest, and Java.
• Experience in REST and WebSocket API automation testing using Python or Java.
• Familiarity with relational and distributed databases for data validation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, and version control systems like GitHub.
• Solid understanding of development processes and familiarity with Jira workflow.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
• Background in blockchain or fintech environments is advantageous.
