Senior Security Engineer (Endpoints & Access)

We are developing a platform to provide security solutions for innovative distributed applications. In the current blockchain landscape, each service typically relies on its own tokenized trust-network for security. With EigenLayer, services can leverage the established security of the Ethereum trust network, enabling enhanced scalability while maintaining high-level security and decentralization.

Responsibilities

We are in search of a senior security engineer who will focus on endpoint management/security, and be responsible for designing and implementing access management policies and controls on a company-wide scale. This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders across the organization, requiring the ability to make informed decisions balancing security requirements and business needs. You will lead projects from the deployment of security tools on corporate devices to analyzing security logs for unusual activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to safeguard our corporate devices (endpoints) and ensure a consistent least-privilege access management approach across the organization.
• Manage endpoint devices hands-on, handling configuration policies, investigating, and mitigating threats.
• Collaborate with partners to create effective access controls and related policies in alignment with our team's evolving dynamics and daily threat profiles.
• Work with internal stakeholders to smoothly implement security measures and protocols.
• Create and maintain incident response plans for addressing security breaches and other security incidents.
• Keep abreast of the latest security trends and best practices for regular incorporation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 3+ years of information security experience, focusing on endpoint security, MDMs, and access management.
• Skilled in independently managing end-to-end security programs.
• Proficient in managing macOS mobile devices with tools such as Kandji or Jamf, configuring EDR tools like Crowdstrike, and handling access management with Okta.
• Experience in aggregating security logs from various systems to monitor potential security threats.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.

Desirable Skills

• Hands-on security experience in the blockchain industry.

Per local regulations, the annual base salary for this role is $200,000 to $250,000. Additional rewards may include bonuses, incentives, and program-specific awards.
