Token Metrics is looking for an experienced Senior Software Architect to lead the enhancement of our analytics platform and trading bot. This pivotal role involves driving the growth of our infrastructure to efficiently accommodate a global user base, focusing on performance, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Review Token Metrics' existing architecture thoroughly to pinpoint areas requiring enhancement.
- Design and supervise the deployment of scalable solutions catering to a vast global user audience.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure technical solutions align with business goals.
- Provide technical guidance and support as well as mentorship to the development team.
- Keep up-to-date on new technologies and industry trends to recommend cutting-edge solutions.
- Ensure security and reliability are maintained across Token Metrics' platforms at a large scale.
- Produce and uphold architectural documentation and standards.
- Implement strategies to notably decrease the number of platform bugs.
- Improve the quality assurance process to enhance engineering output reliability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Possess over 10 years of software development experience with a minimum of 5 years in a senior architectural role.
- Demonstrate expert-level knowledge in system design and architecture principles.
- Exhibit a proven track record in expanding applications to cater to vast user bases.
- Display a deep comprehension of OLAP and OLTP databases, particularly with Snowflake experience.
- Be proficient in contemporary web technologies and frameworks like Next.js, Supabase, Tailwind, and Shadcn.
- Have a solid background in cloud computing and distributed systems.
- Possess relevant certifications such as the Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
- Showcase exceptional problem-solving skills and a strategic thinking ability.
- Present strong communication skills and the capacity to explain intricate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Hold extensive experience in executing bug reduction tactics and elevating software quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bring experience from the cryptocurrency or fintech sector.
- Possess knowledge of blockchain technologies and decentralized applications.
