Senior Software Architect (Ecuador- Remote)

Token Metrics is in search of an accomplished Senior Software Architect to drive the advancement of our analytics platform and trading bot. The main emphasis for this significant role lies in expanding our infrastructure to cater to millions of users on a global scale, maintaining exceptional performance, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate Token Metrics' existing architecture comprehensively to pinpoint areas necessitating enhancement and optimization.
• Develop and supervise the execution of scalable solutions that can accommodate millions of users worldwide.
• Collaborate with varied teams to ensure technical solutions align with business goals.
• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.
• Remain updated on the latest technologies and industry trends, suggesting innovative solutions.
• Guarantee the security and consistent performance of Token Metrics' platforms on a large scale.
• Create and manage architectural documentation and standards.
• Implement strategies to drastically reduce platform bugs.
• Strengthen the quality assurance procedure to enhance the dependability of our engineering output.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of software development experience with a minimum of 5 years in a senior architectural capacity.
• Profound understanding of system design and architecture principles.
• Demonstrated expertise in scaling applications to cater to vast user bases.
• Thorough knowledge of OLAP and OLTP databases, particularly Snowflake.
• Competence in modern web technologies and frameworks like Next.js, Supabase, Tailwind, and Shadcn.
• Solid background in cloud computing and distributed systems.
• Relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey intricate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Extensive experience in applying bug reduction techniques and enhancing software quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in the cryptocurrency or fintech sector.
• Familiarity with blockchain technologies and decentralized applications.
• Understanding of machine learning and AI, especially concerning trading algorithms.
• Track record of accomplishing successful large-scale system migrations.
