Senior Software Architect (Hungary- Remote)

Token Metrics is searching for an experienced Senior Software Architect to lead the enhancement of our analytics platform and trading bot. As a pivotal figure in our team, you will be crucial in the expansion of our infrastructure to cater to a global user base of millions, ensuring top-notch performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a thorough assessment of Token Metrics' existing architecture to identify areas for enhancement and optimization.
• Develop and supervise the deployment of scalable solutions that can accommodate millions of users worldwide.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to suggest innovative solutions.
• Ensure the security and dependability of Token Metrics' platforms at a large scale.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation and standards.
• Implement strategies to significantly decrease the number of bugs in our platform.
• Improve the quality assurance process to enhance the reliability of our engineering output.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience with a minimum of 5 years in a senior architectural role.
• Profound understanding of system design and architecture principles.
• Proven track record in scaling applications to support millions of users.
• In-depth knowledge of OLAP and OLTP databases, specifically in Snowflake.
• Proficiency in modern web technologies and frameworks like Next.js, Supabase, Tailwind, and Shadcn.
• Robust background in cloud computing and distributed systems.
• Relevant certifications, such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills and adeptness in explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Extensive experience in implementing bug reduction strategies and elevating software quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the cryptocurrency or fintech sector.
• Familiarity with blockchain technologies and decentralized applications.
• Knowledge of machine learning and AI, particularly within trading algorithms.
• Successful history of conducting large-scale system migrations.
• Contributions to open-source projects or publication in technical articles.
