The Role
As Senior Software Engineer, you will oversee the development lifecycle of EigenPOD offchain components within EigenLayer. Your responsibilities will include advancing EigenLayer's native restaking services and collaborating with the protocol team to ensure smooth integration with EigenLayer.

What You Will Do
- Act as a technical expert on demanding projects, contributing your knowledge and experience to boost productivity
- Collaborate with leadership to shape product strategies and platform experiences
- Write code to create proofs of beacon chain events
- Design APIs for efficient web app usage
- Utilize inventive methods like zero knowledge proofs to enhance efficiency and customer experience
- Keep abreast of Ethereum Improvement Proposals impacting native restaking
- Evaluate vendors, implement their solutions effectively, and ensure data quality and uptime
What You Will Bring
- A degree in Computer Science or related field
- Over 5 years of backend distributed systems experience
- 2+ years of full-cycle development with Go
- Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies
- In-depth knowledge of Ethereum protocol, staking, and beacon chain
- Demonstrated leadership in backend development of web2 components and API design
- Experience in working on scalable and dynamic software systems
Nice to Haves
- Background in Ethereum consensus clients or other blockchain protocols
- Proficiency in smart contracts
- Knowledge of native restaking and/or liquid staking systems
Salary range: $225,000 - $250,000 annual base salary plus additional benefits such as bonuses, incentives, and employee perks including medical coverage, retirement plans, unlimited PTO, and paid family leave.
