Your mission

Within Bitpanda's TradeHub solution, the Identity Platform focuses on safeguarding user information and compliance with data protection regulations like GDPR. Our specialized solutions in identity, authentication, and authorization aim to deliver secure access experiences while maintaining industry security standards.

As a Software Engineer, your role will involve developing secure access solutions for our extensive user base. Your expertise in building stable and scalable systems is crucial for supporting internal operations effectively.

What you’ll do

  • Develop scalable, resilient, message-driven services using Java
  • Write clean code with high test coverage and assist in disseminating information within the team
  • Optimize system reliability, performance, and maintainability
  • Guide and mentor team members

Who you are

  • Proficient in software development with Java 11+
  • Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases, particularly Postgres
  • Experience in creating REST APIs
  • Familiarity with message-oriented middleware (Kafka)
  • Knowledge of PHP is a plus
