Your mission:
In this role as a Java Backend Engineer at our company, you will be an integral part of our core trading team. Your primary focus will be on developing future-proof business critical services that can effortlessly handle vast amounts of data and transactions. What you’ll do:
- Develop scalable and maintainable solutions for high-performance backend systems using event-driven architecture on AWS with Kafka.
- Collaborate closely with QA engineers to ensure the quality of our codebase through rigorous testing.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends to ensure our services remain at the forefront of the market.
- Work alongside a team of experienced developers who can support and guide you in your professional growth.
Who you are:
- You are passionate about software development best practices with a primary focus on Java (11+).
- You possess knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases, such as Postgres.
- Proficiency in creating and managing REST APIs is a key strength.
- While Kafka experience is a plus, a background in event-driven microservices will suffice.
- Additional familiarity with technologies like AWS, Azure, GCP, PHP, and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins) would be advantageous.
