Your mission:

In this role as a Java Backend Engineer at our company, you will be an integral part of our core trading team. Your primary focus will be on developing future-proof business critical services that can effortlessly handle vast amounts of data and transactions. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects, solve complex challenges, and collaborate with different teams within our organization.

What you’ll do:

• Develop scalable and maintainable solutions for high-performance backend systems using event-driven architecture on AWS with Kafka.
• Collaborate closely with QA engineers to ensure the quality of our codebase through rigorous testing.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends to ensure our services remain at the forefront of the market.
• Work alongside a team of experienced developers who can support and guide you in your professional growth.

Who you are:

• You are passionate about software development best practices with a primary focus on Java (11+).
• You possess knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases, such as Postgres.
• Proficiency in creating and managing REST APIs is a key strength.
• While Kafka experience is a plus, a background in event-driven microservices will suffice.
• Additional familiarity with technologies like AWS, Azure, GCP, PHP, and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins) would be advantageous.
