Description
At Kronos Research, the (Sr.) Accounting Manager position plays a key role in managing internal and external stakeholders, overseeing statutory and tax audits, handling accruals, payroll accounting, and fixed assets, all while ensuring compliance with Taiwan Tax Law and Company Law.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, which includes preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Supervise all finance and accounting functions to guarantee the timely and accurate submission of regular reports.
- Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of monthly reports/packages, annual tax returns, and transfer pricing reports.
- Act as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, lead the fieldwork for statutory and tax audits, and collaborate with various departments to gather accounting records.
- Deliver monthly reports/packages, annual tax returns, and transfer pricing reports in a timely and accurate manner to ensure precision.
- Handle all tax inquiries and transfer pricing reports from tax authorities, reviewing any potential tax risks.
- Manage accruals, payroll accounting, and fixed asset sub-ledger to guarantee precise monthly closing.
- Conduct ad-hoc tasks or projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in Accounting or related roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
- Knowledgeable about Taiwan Tax Law and Company Law.
- Proficient in managing financial operations across multiple entities in different regions.
- Preference is given to individuals with agency and start-up experience.
- Proficient in written and verbal English.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of independent work while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
