Staff Designer (Marketing)

As a member of Uniswap, you will contribute to reshaping the flow of value on the internet.
They seek a motivated designer to contribute to developing innovative financial products. In this role, you will become part of a tight-knit product team known for pioneering UX solutions. You will be deeply involved in addressing advanced human-computer interface challenges, crafting new user models for decentralized finance, and shaping the design ethos of the organization.
The position offers the flexibility for remote work, with the headquarters located in SoHo, New York City.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to brainstorm, create content, and deliver impactful design solutions
- Take the lead on medium to large projects, encompassing social content, microsites, physical designs, brand identities, and presentations
- Translate strategic and creative direction into high-caliber designs that simplify complex concepts
- Uphold a visual style consistent with the Uniswap brand
- Participate in design reviews, offer and receive feedback, and mentor others on design
- Keep abreast of design, crypto, and marketing trends
- Design with a dual emphasis on brand identity and business results
- Utilize design expertise to address intricate issues inventively and efficiently
Requirements:
- Possess a minimum of 8 years of diverse design experience across various styles and mediums – static, dynamic, and interactive
- Knowledge of cryptocurrencies and dApps
- Collaborative, humble, and receptive to new ideas
- Keen eye for detail and proficient in design fundamentals, typography, and layout
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Suite
- Ability to handle multiple design projects and adapt quickly to shifting priorities
- Skilled in problem-solving, proposing solutions, and seeking input
- Extensive experience in resolving complex problems creatively in alignment with company objectives
Nice-to-haves:
- Previous experience designing marketing materials for crypto-related tools
- Expertise in animation and motion design
Candidates can expect a minimum annual salary range of $175,000 - $210,000. Transparency in compensation adheres to New York City regulations. Full-time employees may benefit from additional compensation aspects, such as equity, tokens, and employee benefits based on position type.
