Overview of the Role
We are seeking a candidate at a mid-to-senior level to take charge of strategy workstreams within Decentralized Finance (DeFi) and selected Traditional Finance (TradFi) sectors. The ideal candidate should possess team management experience and a strong understanding of the DeFi landscape. This role is location-based in Hong Kong or Singapore.
What You’ll Do
- Lead strategy workstreams encompassing DeFi strategy, Yield product strategy, and strategies supporting our expansion into TradFi.
- Supervise a small team of 2-3 associates.
- Execute strategic initiatives driving tangible business outcomes like pricing strategy, product strategy, market research & analysis, and strategic partnerships & investments.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and maintain an informed perspective on the market.
What We Look For
- Particularly value a keen interest in DeFi demonstrated through familiarity and personal usage of DeFi products.
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher qualification.
- Accumulate 5+ years of experience in problem-solving-intensive fields, such as management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, or equity research.
- Demonstrate prior team management experience.
- Exhibit a methodical approach to problem-solving, analytical thinking, and output generation.
- Showcase a track record of proactivity and the capability to identify and tackle challenges or opportunities independently.
- Additional skills in portfolio management, data analytics or coding (e.g., SQL, Python), or a background in computer science, engineering, or product development would be advantageous.
