About the Role:
Looking to embark on an exhilarating venture, Limit Break seeks a standout Unity Engineer to lead the development of a cutting-edge mobile game. Your role will involve collaborating closely with a dynamic team, scaling the project from conception to production, and shaping the game's future direction.

Responsibilities: What you’ll do
- Design, implement, and maintain robust gameplay systems in Unity using C#
- Collaborate with designers and artists to bring features to life
- Develop modular, data-driven systems in Unity to enable response to configuration changes
- Coordinate with the backend team for seamless client-server communication
- Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor junior developers
- Resolve performance, crashes, and build size issues using Unity's debugging tools
- Drive features from concept to refinement, ensuring their polish and optimal performance
Qualifications: Who you are and what you’ve done
- Over 8 years of game development experience, with more than 5 years in Unity
- Proficiency in Unity, C#, and a comprehensive understanding of engine lifecycle
- History of shipping live service games for mobile using Unity
- Ability to work in an established Unity codebase, evolving and extending existing systems seamlessly
- Proactive, feature-ownership mindset and strong communication skills for collaboration among team members
- Deep knowledge of Unity architecture, including best practices for MonoBehaviours, ScriptableObjects, Prefabs, and Addressables
- Capable of working independently while effectively communicating and collaborating with peers from various disciplines
Nice to have: What an ideal candidate looks like
- Bilingual fluency in English and Japanese
- Understanding of backend technologies like GoLang, Redis, SQL, and Docker
- Experience with Free-to-play game titles
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
