Role Summary:
Limit Break is seeking a talented Unity Engineer to lead a groundbreaking initiative in developing a mid-core, 3D mobile game. Collaborating closely with a dynamic team, this role involves crafting and refining the game's prototype to align with executive stakeholders. As the project progresses, you will oversee team scaling and work collaboratively with leads and directors from various disciplines.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust gameplay systems in Unity using C#.
- Collaborate with designers and artists to bring features to life.
- Create modular, data-driven systems in Unity that can adapt to live configuration and content changes.
- Ensure smooth client-server communication by interfacing with the backend team.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and support junior developers.
- Identify and resolve performance-related issues using Unity’s profiling and debugging tools.
- Develop features from concept to polish, ensuring their optimal quality.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of game development experience, with at least 5 years in Unity.
- Proficiency in Unity and C# with a strong grasp of the engine lifecycle.
- Shipped at least one live service game on mobile using Unity.
- Comfortable working within an established Unity codebase and extending existing systems.
- Proactive, takes ownership of features, and sees projects through completion.
- In-depth knowledge of Unity’s architecture and best practices.
- Capable of autonomous work while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese.
- Familiarity with backend technologies such as GoLang, Redis, SQL, and Docker.
- Experience with Free-to-play game titles.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
