Job Responsibilities and Duties: Operates various equipment needed in the construction process for operations, maintenance, and expansion. Builds forms, installs rebar & pour concrete, steel fabrication & maintenance required.Installs pipe of all sizes in all areas of the mine.Plans and organize and performs shotcrete applications & grouting.Plans, organize steel & wood fabrication for various projects. Includes welding & cutting.Jackleg & sinking hammer experience for site excavation, modification & set up.Prioritize, understand and follow written /verbal instructions.Able to work without direct supervision.Qualifications and Skills:Required:Mechanical aptitude: piping, pumping, welding, cutting torch.Equipment Operator, LHD's, skid steer, trucks, forklifts, buggies, tractors.Able to work from prints/drawings.Strong leadership skills with an emphasis on teamwork and team building.Must meet the Physical Requirements for the UG Construction position.Understanding of and a strong commitment to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.Sibanye-Stillwater is an equal opportunity employer.
