About me
Native Japanese, based in Japan. Payment via LaborX escrow only (stablecoins). Two languages, both necessary. Neither was chosen. I grew up in Japan. From the late 90s I lived in the English-speaking internet, which pulled me into the early days of crypto. I watched, first-hand, the moments that later became articles. My core work is English-Japanese localization for Web3 — whitepapers, protocol docs, governance proposals. Context preserved, not just words. I also take on deep research into the Japanese market when clients need the reality, not the overseas summary. Translation in a day. Research in a week. The process is honed. Three things I will not do: machine translation passed off as work, off-platform payments, and work I cannot deliver. If I take it, it gets finished.

Independent practice operating at the intersection of Japanese and global Web3. Bridge work for projects moving into or out of the Japanese market. Core engagements include whitepaper and protocol documentation localization, Japanese-market entry research, competitor landscape analysis, and bilingual community management across Discord and Telegram for DAOs and token projects. Clients range from early-stage protocol teams needing Japanese-audience positioning, to established projects requiring ongoing Japanese community infrastructure. Work is delivered directly — no account managers, no layers. The underlying principle: Japanese-market work done by people who actually read Japanese Twitter, track domestic regulatory sentiment, and understand why a Japanese investor reads a given English sentence as untrustworthy. Surface-level localization loses projects. Context-accurate work wins them.
