In my experience, one minute of footage takes about an hour of work so when I charge hourly, I’m mostly looking at how long you want your project to be and the level of complexity you want.
I’ve been working as an editor since 2018. During that time, I became familiar with most every editing software out there, but I do most of my work in DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, and After Effects.
