Front Arena Market Access Components Installation on AWS
We are looking for an experienced AWS Engineer with expertise in Front Arena Market Access components to assist in the installation, configuration, and optimization of market access services on AWS.
The role involves setting up and integrating the following components:
- AIMS (Arena Internal Market Server)
- AMAS FixTk2 (Arena Market Access Server)
- TAB (TNP ADM Bridge)
- OMNI
- Long-term RAMSA (Real-time Market Server Archive)
- AMSC (Arena Market Server Concentrator)
- AFG (Arena Fix Gateway)
System Architecture Overview
The Front Arena Market Access System is structured in a three-tier hierarchical architecture consisting of Clients, Servers, and Databases:
- Clients: These include Front Arena applications (OMNI, PRIME) and external FIX clients.
- Servers: Market servers such as AMAS and AIMS handle market access, order management, and trade execution.
- Databases: Each AMS component connects to a dedicated database for data persistence, real-time updates, and long-term archiving (RAMSA).
The setup must ensure seamless market connectivity to both internal and external markets, allowing order management, trade reporting, and data distribution.
Infrastructure Setup on AWS
The deployment must leverage AWS best practices to ensure security, scalability, and high availability:
- Compute: EC2 instances with appropriate sizing for low-latency trading.
- Networking: VPC with subnets, VPN/Direct Connect for external exchange connectivity.
- Storage: RDS for databases, S3 for logs, EBS for persistent data.
- Security: IAM roles, Security Groups, encryption for sensitive data.
- Monitoring: CloudWatch, ELK Stack, and real-time logging for performance tracking.
Installation & Configuration Requirements
You will be responsible for:
- Deploying AMAS, AIMS, and supporting components on AWS instances.
- Ensuring FIX protocol connectivity for external exchanges.
- Configuring market servers to optimize order execution and data flow.
- Setting up AMS databases for order books, trade history, and internal market data.
- Implementing failover and redundancy for high availability.
Testing & Performance Validation
The setup must be rigorously tested for:
- Connectivity with external exchanges (Eurex, Xetra, etc.).
- Order routing efficiency through OMNI and TAB.
- Market data latency and transaction throughput.
- Disaster recovery and failover procedures.
Security & Compliance Considerations
- Adherence to AWS security best practices.
- Role-based access control (RBAC) for AMS components.
- Logging and monitoring for audit and compliance purposes.
