3D Stylized Texture Artist (Junior)
Responsibilities:
Work with the Art Department to create textures essential for Seedworld's visual direction, ensuring they match the project's art style.
Develop hand-painted and procedural textures based on provided visual references and project goals under the supervision of the Art Director.
Collaborate with Art Directors, Technical Artists, and team members to grasp technical requirements and optimize the texture creation process.
Experiment with procedural texture creation methods and apply them effectively in a production environment.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in hand-painted and procedural texture work, preferably within the gaming sector.
Proficiency in texturing, look development, and the generation of procedural textures.
Knowledge of 3D modeling necessities such as UV mapping, baking, and texture layout, as well as common texturing methods.
Desired Qualifications:
Strong artistic ability to complement technical expertise and work well with the Art Director.
Efficient, organized, collaborative, and receptive to feedback.
Proficient in English with an understanding of production standards, deadlines, and task priorities.
Previous experience with shader development in Unreal Engine would be advantageous.
Bonus Skills:
- Knowledge of shader development within Unreal Engine.
