Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with marketing and affiliate teams to gather, process, and analyze data on referral and affiliate programs, ensuring accuracy in insights.
- Use advanced data tools to examine and interpret large data sets related to affiliate performance, customer acquisition, and referral conversions within marketing and transactions.
- Identify patterns, anomalies, and trends in affiliate data to suggest strategic enhancements, optimizations, and growth opportunities for program effectiveness.
- Develop and manage dashboards and visual representations that effectively communicate affiliate program performance and crucial metrics to stakeholders.
- Work with diverse teams to devise and assess experiments aimed at enhancing affiliate marketing strategies and ROI.
- Translate complex data findings into clear reports and presentations for operational teams and senior management to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in affiliate marketing analytics to continuously improve analytical approaches and tools.
- Be effective in a high-paced environment where providing prompt insights and swift execution are vital to maintaining a competitive edge.
Requirements
- Possess a degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics/Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or Life Sciences.
- Have 5-7 years of full-time experience in an Analytics or Data Science role with a preference for experience in business consulting environments.
- Be a motivated team player capable of quickly learning and applying new tools like proprietary analytical software, data models, and programming languages.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to collaborate with international partners.
Competency in at least two of the following areas:
- Proficiency in an analytical software (e.g., R, SAS).
- Experience with a data visualization tool (e.g., Qlikview, Tableau, PowerBI).
- Familiarity with relational or graph database management tools (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Neo4J).
- Programming skills (e.g., VBA, C++, Java, Python).
