Job Overview:
The Area Facilities Manager will oversee the management and maintenance of our Sandersville Site's physical facility, as well as lead a team of technicians. This role is essential in ensuring our overall efficiency, working round-the-clock, and requires a high level of electrical expertise.
This position will mainly support our Onedia, Winfield, West Crossville, Campbell Junction, and Decatur locations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise building and grounds maintenance.
- Manage custodial functions.
- Implement security and emergency preparedness procedures effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the facility according to company policies.
- Supervise and uphold the quality of work by other employees to ensure tasks are completed correctly and efficiently.
- Conduct regular facilities inspections and document findings.
- Review completed work by vendors and contractors.
- Make recommendations for maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design improvements.
- Communicate workplace safety guidelines to employees.
- Forecast, allocate, and manage financial and physical resources for facility management.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and support energy management.
- Oversee building and grounds security.
- Prepare facilities and equipment for regular business operations and special events.
- Handle inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment.
- Provide recommendations for new equipment purchases.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
- Possess expertise in single-phase immersion cooling systems.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Fundamental understanding of equipment and facilities maintenance or quick learning capability.
- Ability to maintain records and warranties.
- Ability to comprehend written directions in manuals and manufacturer websites.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software for record-keeping.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or similar roles.
- Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations.
- Familiarity with general maintenance practices, operational requirements, and safety measures in facilities management.
