Key Responsibilities
Responsible for audit support and timely responses to auditor requests during reporting and tax cycles.
Lead technical accounting research efforts and prepare accounting position memos for complex transactions.
Prepare and review disclosures and supporting schedules for SEC filings.
Facilitate communication across various departments to ensure cohesive and timely reporting.
Maintain accounting policy documentation and identify process optimization opportunities.
Assist in executing internal controls over financial reporting as per SOX 404.
Collaborate with the tax department on income tax provision under ASC 740.
Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Must hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
3-6 years of progressive experience in public accounting or technical accounting at a public company.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and related reporting requirements.
Demonstrated experience in preparing technical accounting memos and footnote disclosures.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, including pivot tables and formulas.
Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lbs and standing for extended periods.
Willingness to work after hours or weekends when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in investment accounting or digital asset accounting.
Familiarity with NetSuite, FloQast, DFin, Workiva, and/or Certent.
Previous experience in a high-growth or fast-paced public company environment.
Annual Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000
