  • We are searching for a highly skilled Backend Engineer with experience in Backend development and exposure to Blockchain technology. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying product development tasks as an Individual Contributor (IC). Collaborating with other Backend & Fullstack Engineers, you will closely work with engineering teams, project managers, designers, and engineering leadership to ensure the successful delivery of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Development and Maintenance: Take the lead in developing and maintaining backend services utilizing Node.js (preferably Nest.js), TypeScript, and JavaScript to write clean, efficient, and scalable code.

API Design and Management: Design and manage RESTful APIs or utilize RPCs while integrating third-party APIs or RPCs to support business processes and data exchange.

Database Management: Handle databases (both SQL and NoSQL) by overseeing design, development, and optimization to ensure data integrity and security.

Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure coding standards and best practices are met. Implement unit and integration tests to uphold high-quality code.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the systems developed, ensuring it remains up to date.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Software Engineer.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.

Proficiency in Typescript/Javascript for back end REST APIs (RPCs) and utilizing frameworks like Express or NestJS, as well as experience with NoSQL and SQL databases.

Knowledge or interest in Web3 and familiarity with blockchain technology; bonus points if you have experience with Solidity/Layer0.

Ability to demonstrate strong emotional intelligence and amicable collaboration when working with teams.
