Backend Engineer (Python/Node.js)

Job Summary:

We are a dynamic team dedicated to crafting, enhancing, and maintaining software for a range of venture projects, closely related to our core operations and developed swiftly with a streamlined team. As a key contributor, your role will involve active participation in designing various components essential for scaling applications, covering aspects from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Development:

• Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented code utilizing Python for machine learning models, automation scripts, and system integrations.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to define requirements and implement solutions.

• Conduct reviews of the development process to rectify bugs and enhance systems.

• High-Scale Automation: Design and deploy robust backend systems for managing large-scale automation initiatives to ensure reliable operation and fault tolerance for critical business functions.

• API Development: Create and sustain high-performance, secure APIs for managing payment processes and automated reconciliations.

• Workflow Engineering: Develop backend logic and integration layers to support workflow verification and automated help alerts.

• Database Optimization: Handle intricate data structures, conduct extensive database optimizations, and manage high-frequency transaction logging and querying.

• System Integration: Create seamless connections between internal microservices and external third-party platforms.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional backend development experience.
• Python & Node.js Mastery: Proficiency in both Python and Node.js at an expert level is mandatory.
• API Frameworks: Deep understanding of FastAPI, Django, or Flask for building production-ready services.
• Database Expertise: Strong command of relational database concepts, adept at SQL querying, and experienced in performance tuning.
• Automation Background: Significant involvement in large-scale automation projects, particularly related to automated financial reporting, bulk data processing, or enterprise-wide workflow orchestration.
• Domain Knowledge: Practical experience in backend aspects of payment reconciliation and KYC compliance.
• Skilled in English communication with experience collaborating across global teams.

• Kubernetes/Docker proficiency and experience in Applied AI Development.
