We are searching for a skilled individual in AI/ML to join our Bigdata team. This role involves active participation in the development of advanced algorithms for products related to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB).

The successful candidate will engage in cutting-edge projects encompassing computer vision, deep learning, and large language models (LLMs) to address real-world issues in identity verification and fraud prevention.

This position is ideal for Master's or PhD students enthusiastic about AI and eager to contribute to impactful fintech solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to devise, implement, and enhance algorithms for KYC and KYB processes, employing techniques such as Optical Character Recognition, face recognition, image quality assessment, and detecting document tampering.
• Utilize traditional and deep learning methodologies to enhance model accuracy and efficiency in image analysis and processing.
• Harness the potential of Large Language Models (LLMs) to optimize algorithm capabilities, like integrating multimodal AI for improved document comprehension and anomaly detection.
• Conduct experiments, analyze data, and refine models for robustness and scalability within operational settings.
• Assist in researching and developing new functionalities to fortify Binance's regulatory compliance and security frameworks.
• Engage in code reviews, team meetings, and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a PhD program (or equivalent advanced degree) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields at a reputable university.
• Proficiency in machine learning, deep learning, and AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Previous experience or coursework in computer vision, including image processing, object detection, or facial recognition, is a plus.
• Familiarity with LLMs and their application in multimodal tasks is highly preferred.
• Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in data processing libraries (e.g., OpenCV, NumPy, Pandas).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, and the capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Demonstrated interest in blockchain, fintech, or AI ethics is advantageous.
