Blockchain Analyst (Financial Intelligence Unit)
Our team specializing in Compliance Infrastructure is in charge of designing and managing systems, processes, and technologies that support our organization's compliance practices. This includes oversight of the Global Financial Crimes and Compliance Operations team, responsible for managing financial crime risk and ensuring adherence to regulations related to anti-money laundering (AML), sanctions, and anti-bribery and corruption (ABC).
The Blockchain Analyst, reporting to the Director, Financial Crimes, will assist in various tasks to support the Company's Compliance Program. The primary responsibilities include conducting intricate investigations on escalated cases, proactive blockchain-based investigations, producing reports on various issues, synthesizing data for comprehensive analysis, providing training to other analysts, and staying up-to-date on BSA/AML compliance standards.
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate must possess advanced proficiency in blockchain-based investigations with at least 2 years of relevant experience, a deep understanding of blockchain technology, extensive knowledge of BSA/AML regulations, experience in complex investigations involving multiple data sources, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong time management abilities, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Additionally, preferred qualifications include relevant certifications or coursework, experience in open source research (OSINT), familiarity with threat actors in the cryptocurrency sector, proficiency in a second language, and a keen interest in continuous learning and development within a supportive and growth-focused work environment.
