Blockchain DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage and uphold blockchain infrastructure
• Evaluate and suggest configurations for blockchain software and network setup of nodes running the software
• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of Blockchain technology, particularly in the realm of public Blockchain
• Research and communicate security threats related to various blockchain technologies
• Establish and oversee continuous devops lifecycle and automation for the team
• Develop and maintain cloud computing workload, oversee cloud security posture

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in devops, system administration, or related areas; candidates with less experience will be considered for junior roles
• Familiarity with basic blockchain concepts (experience with deployment is a plus)
• Proficiency in deploying on various cloud platforms (such as Amazon, Azure, Google)
• Experience in developing and deploying infrastructure as code using tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and Ansible
• Proficiency in deploying and maintaining container infrastructures (e.g., Kubernetes, docker-compose)
• Experience in constructing, deploying, and managing monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus
• Experience in designing, deploying, and managing logging tools such as Fluentd, ElasticSearch, and Kibana
• Strong grasp of traditional security operations areas: Linux, Networking, Firewall, IDS/IPS
• Skilled at troubleshooting and debugging issues, demonstrating a systematic approach to root cause analysis
• Capable of working effectively within a team
