Blockchain DevOps Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team dedicated to designing, developing, and enhancing software for a range of venture projects. These projects are closely aligned with our core businesses and are rapidly implemented with a lean team. In this role, you will be actively engaged in creating components for scalable applications, spanning from frontend UI design to backend infrastructure development.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and provide support for blockchain infrastructure.
• Evaluate and recommend configurations for blockchain software and network setup of nodes running the blockchain software.
• Cultivate an in-depth understanding of Blockchain technology, specifically in the realm of public Blockchain.
• Develop and educate others on security vulnerabilities associated with various blockchain technologies.
• Establish and oversee the team's continuous devops lifecycle and automation processes.
• Design and govern cloud computing workloads, while managing cloud security protocols.
• We welcome applications from software engineers or system administrators with an interest in blockchain, automation, or infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in devops, system administration, or a related area; individuals with less experience will be considered for a Junior position.
• Familiarity with blockchain basics; experience in deploying blockchain is an advantage.
• Expertise in deploying on various cloud platforms (e.g., Amazon, Azure, Google).
• Proficiency in developing and implementing infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Ansible).
• Experience in deploying and maintaining container infrastructures (e.g., Kubernetes, docker-compose).
• Skilled in building, deploying, and managing monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).
• Proficient in configuring, deploying, and managing logging tools (e.g., Fluentd, ElasticSearch, Kibana).
• Strong understanding of traditional security operations areas, including Linux, Networking, Firewall, and IDS/IPS.
• Capable of effectively troubleshooting and debugging issues with a methodical approach to root cause analysis.
• Collaborative team player with a thirst for learning from both successes and failures, cultivating openness to change and continuous improvement.
• Enthusiastic about the future potential of blockchain and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
