Blockchain Protocol Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Development tasks entail proposing architectural decisions, engaging in design sessions, reviewing designs, conducting code reviews, and executing implementations aimed at resolving complex issues within the blockchain protocol.
• Address and resolve challenging problems throughout the blockchain protocol.
• Collaborate closely with operations and infrastructure teams to construct high-scale backend services.
• Document all implemented code and functionalities meticulously.
• Collaborate with DevOps and ecosystem engineers to enhance the technology stack for enduring engineering projects.

• Accumulate 5+ years of engineering experience, preferably with a focus on backend development using languages like Go or Rust.
• Employ basic cryptographic primitives notably digital signatures, key exchange, and symmetric/asymmetric encryption.
• Possess fundamental knowledge of distributed systems and consensus algorithms like Raft or PBFT.
• Prior experience with Go or Rust is desired. Hands-on exposure to blockchain system internals is a plus.
