Role Overview

LayerZero Labs is in search of an innovative Brand Design Manager to lead our visual design team and guide the visual direction of our brand. In this role, you will oversee a team of visual designers, report to the Head of Communications and Marketing, and manage external agencies to ensure impeccable visual designs supporting the brand's vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise a team of visual designers, offering guidance and feedback for top-notch design outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Communications and Marketing to align visual design strategies with broader marketing and communication objectives.
• Spearhead the development of consistent visual identities across all platforms, encompassing graphics, decks, animations, and marketing websites.
• Cultivate partnerships with external agencies and manage their design projects to meet our standards and timelines.
• Drive the concept and execution of design projects to effectively represent the brand's values and messaging.
• Develop and uphold brand design guidelines to maintain a unified brand identity across all company materials.
• Collaborate with various teams to deliver creative design solutions supporting marketing, business development, and developer relations.
• Work alongside Product and UX designers on the design system to ensure cohesive branding and user experience.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Brand Design Manager in the tech, crypto, or fintech sectors.
• Impressive portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual design and brand development.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a track record of effectively managing and motivating design teams.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and relevant software for web and multimedia design.
• Background in 3D graphics, Computer Graphics (CG), and animations.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience, with 3 years in a managerial role.
