As a key contributor to the Prime business unit within Anchorage Digital, the Business Analyst role involves driving operational frameworks for trading activities, encompassing spot trading, financing, and derivatives. Ideal for individuals early in their careers who possess strong analytical skills and are keen to work at the intersection of financial markets and cryptocurrency. This position entails close collaboration with various teams, including RevOps, TradeOps, Product, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Sales, to ensure seamless execution of daily trading operations while also supporting enhancements to workflows, reporting, and overall client experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity to acquire comprehensive business knowledge and evolve into a subject matter expert over time.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for day-to-day operations within the Trading business, including internal reporting, workflow management, and process coordination.
  • Assist with client onboarding, address trade lifecycle inquiries, and handle general operational queries from internal teams.
  • Maintain documentation, playbooks, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with Sales on complex RFPs and Due Diligence documents related to the Prime business.

Data & Analysis:

  • Utilize tools like Python, SQL, and Excel to conduct data analysis for financial reporting, gain insights, and validate business metrics.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and support weekly/monthly reporting across the Trading business.
  • Identify data discrepancies or operational deficiencies and contribute to their resolution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work alongside RevOps, TradeOps, Sales, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Product teams to facilitate trading processes and address client requirements.
  • Assist in organizing small projects or workflow enhancements to ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
  • Support the implementation of new product features or operational modifications by gathering requirements, documenting needs, and conducting user testing.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Participate in client and internal meetings as necessary to offer support, gather feedback, and ensure follow-through on action items.
  • Foster clear communication channels regarding product and service-related issues or enhancements.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in business operations, financial services, trading support, consulting, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, proficient in structuring problems, analyzing data, and articulating insights effectively.
  • Familiarity with financial markets or cryptocurrency, or a strong willingness to learn promptly.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Experience with Python, SQL, or data visualization tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to trading operations, trade lifecycle management, or fintech environments.
  • Interest in digital assets, cryptocurrency market structure, and emerging financial products.
